- What made you come to Warsaw for this residency?
- I came to make Polish work.
- What did you expect from the place?
- Nothing. And everything.

The Pod zamkniętymi powiekami / With eyes shut exhibition presents, side by side, works by different artists, but which have a common denominator: each of them is a moment of initiation revisited; each an attempt to come to grips with an event from the past, which has proven a threshold for some, a point of no return, a moment after which nothing was the same.

We are pleased to announce our participation in VIENNAFAIR.

The presentation consists of 3080 almost identical, 10x10cm paintings – all hanging in a long, narrow corridor. The technicalities, however, may distort the essential meaning of this work, which resides not as much in a manner of arrangement, as in the fact of its being evocative of a certain type of experience - an uncomfortable and intimidating one, at that.
